The Association presented a case study on commercializing AI technologies in the medical technology sector. In collaboration with the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a set of standards titled "Artificial Intelligence Systems in Clinical Medicine" is currently under development. This initiative seeks to facilitate the future application of AI technologies at both outpatient and inpatient levels.
Aidar Myrzakhmetov, who is also the author of several successful IT projects integrated in Kazakhstan, shared plans to launch a venture capital fund in both the United States and Kazakhstan. This initiative aims to act as a bridge connecting foreign investors from Silicon Valley with the Kazakhstani startup ecosystem. He emphasized that this endeavor will significantly narrow the gap between Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and the global market by adopting advanced international practices, ultimately strengthening Kazakhstan's position as a hub for technological progress in Central Asia. Additionally, Myrzakhmetov discussed the establishment of a "digital sandbox" to stimulate the domestic market for innovations and startups, enabling the implementation and exportation of the most successful solutions to the international market. Furthermore, the U.S. Embassy acknowledged the progress of information technology in Kazakhstan and the country's high potential to become a magnet for IT business angels worldwide.
