Current stage:

As the initial phase of amending healthcare regulatory acts, the Ministry proposes to enable the application of AI technologies at both outpatient and inpatient levels. Additionally, by March of the current year, the direct application of the set of standards from the Russian Federation, titled "Artificial Intelligence Systems in Clinical Medicine," is planned until the development of specific standards for the Republic of Kazakhstan. All emerging issues are being addressed collaboratively with a working group comprising experts from the Ministry, the Republican State Enterprise “National Scientific Center for Healthcare Development named after S. Kairbekova” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican State Enterprise “National Center for Drug Expertise”, Medical Devices, and Medical Equipment of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as experts from the Association.
