Today in Astana, a meeting was held between the Respublica Party and the Association for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan — a union of legal entities. During the event, the head of the Association, Bakytzhan Yeshmukhambetov, and the Chairman of the Party, Aidarbek Kozhanazarov, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The purpose of the memorandum is to exchange advanced expertise and knowledge in the fields of innovation, technology development, and artificial intelligence.
Under the memorandum, both parties commit to creating and developing joint projects, providing mutual support in collaboration efforts, and promoting initiatives at the regional and international levels. Aidarbek Kozhanazarov proposed developing an “AI-powered Deputy Assistant” program to enhance the efficiency of parliament members by processing large information streams and supporting data-driven decision-making.
During the discussion, topics related to data processing were raised, including the need to regulate the collection, processing, and use of data within the framework of the draft law. Kozhanazarov noted that work in this direction will be intensified. The parties plan to implement joint initiatives in the areas of education, healthcare, and cybersecurity.
As of today, the Association is already implementing joint projects with Astana Hub, where startups develop and deploy AI solutions in the economic sector. The organization actively collaborates with universities to train civil servants and educators, while also integrating elements of artificial intelligence into work processes.
Kozhanazarov emphasized that the Respublica Party prioritizes efficiency and cost-effectiveness in public policy, and that cooperation with the Association will be an important step toward achieving these goals. Both sides are confident that the partnership will lead to significant development and improvement of technological capabilities in Kazakhstan.
